Safety Induction

Providing a safe work environment for workers, visitors and the communities we operate in is of paramount importance to Viterra.

Anyone visiting a Viterra site, above 15 years of age, is required to complete the relevant safety induction and have a valid Viterra Safety Card or SitePass prior to coming on site.

Contractors undertaking work at a Viterra site must have completed an induction and all relevant training.

The existing “Safety Card” will continue to be accepted until 31 July 2017. From 1 August 2017, only a valid SitePass Registration will be accepted.

SitePass is an online system that allows contractors to self-register and upload qualifications, licences and insurances, and provides online induction training relevant to the type of contractor. It allows Viterra to provide consistent safety messaging to all contractors and ensures contractors and their employees are aware of our site operations and therefore better equipped to conduct their work in a safe environment.

To register on SitePass and complete the induction and training, visit the SitePass website.

Read the instructions below if you need assistance navigating the SitePass website.

All growers visiting a Viterra site must have completed an induction and have a valid Safety Card.

The Growers & Carriers Safety Induction takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and includes an assessment component on traffic management, operating equipment and reporting incidents and injuries, among other key safety components.

Once you have successfully completed the assessment, you will be issued a temporary Viterra Safety Card (you will need access to a printer to print it). A new card will be sent to your nominated mailing address within two weeks.

If experiencing difficulties, please contact the Viterra Service Centre 1800 018 205 for assistance.
