Make great money with SA harvest jobs: 1500 positions open
We have launched our harvest recruitment drive for the upcoming season, opening 1500 harvest jobs across South Australia and western Victoria.
A variety of roles are available from October through to January 2026 across Bunge’s 55 local sites, with no experience required.
Bunge’s General Manager Operations, Gavin Cavanagh, says Bunge’s harvest workers play a vital role in deliveries of local grain and ensuring it gets to market quickly and efficiently.
“To support our harvest workers in excelling in this very important role, we provide all training and development to ensure workers have the skills they need to help us receive grain safely,” Cavanagh says.
“Our harvest roles are ideal for students, travellers, job seekers and semi-retirees who are wanting to earn good money with above award wages. There is the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while making new friends and exploring the local region in their free time.
“Bunge offers a supportive team environment with the potential to travel during harvest to work at different sites. Positions available include grain testing, grain handling, bunker and weighbridge operations, with career progression possible across the company.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning workers this season.”
EP town welcomes big crowd for Country connect
The small Eyre Peninsula town of Wirrulla was buzzing with excitement on 23 and 24 August as it welcomed a big crowd for the weekend’s Country connect event, a programme run in a partnership by Bunge and the Adelaide Football Club.
The event saw Crows greats Kym Koster and Peter Caven, as well as Bunge and Crows team members, visit the Wirrulla Football Club for a packed weekend.
On Saturday, the past Crows players supported the Wirrulla Bombers vs Ceduna Blues match day activities, including assisting with coaching, and took part in an evening Front Bar style Q&A panel.
This was followed by a free junior coaching clinic on Sunday, where 150 children aged five to 15 registered to take part to improve their skills and learn from the Crows.
To support the club in running the weekend long event, Bunge employees assisted by taking on gate, canteen, barbecue and bar shifts, timing netball, scoring and timing football, and assisting the Crows players with running clinic drills.
The Wirrulla Country connect event follows successful weekends in Mundulla and Melrose earlier in the season. It is the last of three 2025 events that saw Bunge team up with the Adelaide Football Club and boost grassroots footy and community wellbeing in rural towns.
