Last week farmers delivered over 1.2 million tonnes to the Bunge network, bringing total receivals for the 2025/26 harvest to 3.7 million tonnes.
Another busy week saw more sites break their daily receival records.
Bunge Eastern region Operations Manager, Andrew Cannon says farmers delivering to Wolseley surpassed the site’s previous daily record on Saturday.
“Well done to farmers, carriers and our team for their combined hard work leading to our biggest ever day of receivals at Wolseley,” Andrew says.
“It’s great to see the site well supported by local farmers following the major upgrades we made ahead of harvest, including additional bunker storage, new classification centres and weighbridges, and a larger marshalling area, as part of our $50 million project.
“With farmers in the south east busy harvesting, we look forward to continuing to provide a high level of service.”
Meanwhile, Frances received its first 2025/26 season delivery during the week.
Bunge Western region Operations Manager, Nick Pratt says the Western region also celebrated setting another daily record last week.
“For a second time this harvest, farmers delivering to Port Lincoln broke the site’s daily record last Tuesday,” Nick says.
“This is a great achievement and big consecutive days of deliveries meant the site was one of the busiest on the Eyre Peninsula last week, in addition to Cummins, Rudall and Tumby Bay which also received solid volumes.
“While harvest in the lower Eyre Peninsula is peaking, some farmers in the far west are now starting to wrap up.”
Bunge Central region Operations Manager, Jack Tansley says total deliveries to the region are now sitting at more than 1.5 million tonnes.
“Much like the rest of the state, we had a big week of deliveries last week with over 530,000 tonnes delivered across Central region sites,” Jack says.
“Port Giles topped receivals in the region for the week, followed by Gladstone and Wallaroo. Wheat is the focus in many areas.”
