We welcomed the first 2025/26 season delivery to our Central region last Monday, a load of barley at Wallaroo delivered by local farmer Gary Price.
Our Port Lincoln, Port Neill and Port Pirie sites also received their first deliveries for the harvest during the week.
With six sites now receiving, farmers delivered a total of 2300 tonnes, including barley, lentils and the first new season deliveries of wheat and canola.
Bunge Central region Operations Manager, Jack Tansley says it’s great to start receiving deliveries in the Central region.
“We received just under 800 tonnes at Wallaroo and Port Pirie, with farmers in early areas making a start on harvesting their barley,” Jack says.
“Our local team is ready to support more farmers as they begin harvest and work closely with them to ensure our opening hours and segregations meet their needs.”
