You will earn a nationally accredited Certificate III in Rural Operations, as well as licenses for:

  • Front-end loader driving
  • Forklift driving

  • Working in confined spaces

Our 12 trainee roles are spread across our network and may be available at different sites from year to year, depending on both business requirement and applicant interest. In the past, trainee positions have been made available in:

Our trainee programme is two years long, to provide adequate learning time about a broad range of site operations. There are opportunities for trainees to stay on with us upon completion.

Viterra pays our trainees per the Viterra Bulk Handling of Grain, Pulses and Mineral Award 2015, but specific wages can depend on a variety of factors. This will be discussed during the interview process.
