Which safety card do I need to visit a Bunge site?

You need a current sitepass card if you are directly working for and/or subcontracting to:

You need a current safety card.
You need a current sitepass card.
No card required. Visitors to sites and passengers who remain inside a vehicle do not need a card. A member of staff will provide visitors with a site induction on arrival at the office.

Who needs a safety card?
Growers delivering grain to our sites, and carriers NOT working directly for and/or subcontracting to the following companies are required to hold a valid safety card.
- Bowley/Colliver Transport
- Ceduna Bulk Hauliers
- Glen Carron Bulk Haulage
- Quinn Transport
- Symons-Clark Logistics
- Vin Callery Transport
- Wishart Contractors
If you work for one of the carriers listed above, or you are carrying out work other than transporting grain at our sites, then you will need a sitepass card.
Visitors and passengers do not need a safety card.
If I have a sitepass card do I need a safety card?
If you hold a valid sitepass card, you do not need a safety card as well.
How do I get a safety card and when do I need it?
Complete the safety induction for grower deliveries, which has updated safety information that you should be aware of before attending our sites.
From August 2025, physical safety cards are no longer being distributed. You can access a digital version of your safety card on the safety card website or Viterra app.
Any time you are transporting grain at our sites, we can ask to see either a digital version of your safety card, or photographic identification so we can verify you have completed the induction.
This is the only safety card recognised by Bunge.

The safety card verifies that you are up to date with the relevant safety requirements, procedures and responsibilities relating to transporting grain at our sites.
How long is a safety card valid for?
A safety card is valid for two years. To ensure everyone is up to date with the latest safety information, safety cards need to be renewed every two years.
Do visitors and passengers need a safety card?
No, visitors and passengers do not need a safety card. Passengers must remain in the vehicle in operational areas. Visitors being escorted on site or only entering the classification office, for example, having a sample tested, do not need a safety card. It is only required for those driving the vehicle that is delivering grain to the site.

It also allows us to provide safety information to all contractors and ensures you are aware of our site operations and are therefore better equipped to conduct your work in a safe environment.
Does Bunge accept any other safety registrations?
No, Bunge only accepts a valid sitepass registration for contractors undertaking work.
